There are few moments in a book’s life when it gets to dress up and be admired. This is one of them. For quite some time now, my newly written novella A Song of Summer has lived quietly in pages—whispering its way through memory, longing, and the peculiar way certain moments refuse to stay in the past. But before a story is read, it is seen. And today, it finally has a face.

 The book will be released in a few months, but I wanted you to know now—to have this first glimpse, this early note of what’s to come. Like the story itself, the image holds more than it first reveals—something warm, something fleeting, and perhaps something just out of reach.
