Stranger Than Fiction? Maybe Not.

I know some people think I’m a bit… unusual. But odd, coincidental things seem to happen to me more often than not. Here’s one of the latest.

In my memoir, I described undergoing three sessions of something called Past Life Therapy. In one of those sessions, I saw myself as an architect living in San Francisco during the late 1800s—specifically at 1023 Sacramento Street.

Fast-forward to 2025: I’m writing this while staying at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, in the Tower’s Funston Suite, which offers sweeping views of the city. Here’s the kicker—the Tower was built in 1961 on the exact spot where 1023 Sacramento once stood.

Coincidence? Maybe. But I’ve always believed in the presence of those angels I was told watched over me when I was sixteen. And based on experiences like this, it seems they’re still very much around.

  1. Nothing strange about either you or the experience. You allow for wonder and magical thinking. There is nothing peculiar about it, save those who don’t “listen” and “see”.

  2. I do not believe in councidences. They are always a surprise and are usually thought provoking. Enjoy!
